The Youth Support Podium on 20th July, 2019 celebrated together with 50 certificate graduates of the Community Development Institute of Kibi during the first ever convocation of 2018/2019 batch of students. The school, which was established in September 1978 as a rural development center today runs seven(7) programmes with GES intermediate Certificate II and NVTI Certificate I and II whilst commencing Fashion Design by September 2019 when the academic year resumes. Present during the graduation was Nana Barima Kwaku Dua (Etwienanahene), Hon. Prof. Frimpong Kwabena Frimpong Boateng, Minister for Environment, Science and Technology, Mr. Freeman Aikins (Project Maanager for Youth Support Podium) as well as other Municipal Chief Executives and other invited guests. Mr. Augustine Weyageh on behalf of the Technical Institute, acknowledged the support and immense contribution given in cash and in kind by Youth Support Podium and JL Properties . He further appealed to participants and the general public to support the institute in the provision of a school vehicle, street lights and facilities to face-lift the school’s pratical activities.
