Youth Support Podium Participates in Urban Gardening Project Organized by Hipsters of Nature at Nima

The Leadership of Youth Support Podium(YSP) participated in the Urban Gardening Project dubbed, “My Garden, My Health, My Wealth Project” from 22nd to 25th September, 2020 at Nima. The training, which is an upscaled project in parts of Accra to empower local people and school children to grow fruits and vegetables in sacks filled with soil to make use of limited space whilse imporving whilst improving thier nutritional value. As part of our seed and seedlings bank project to boost urban organic agriculture and food security all year through collaboration and partnership, the YSP in this module to leverage and learn on the positive impact of Urban Gardening project which is a “Multi storey Gardens” initiative sponsored by the German Development Corporation(GIZ) and implemented by Hipsters of Nature.

Represented by Mr. Albert Freeman Aikins, the projet Manager for Youth Support Podium, we hope to achieve the project objective of reaching more than 30 rural communities in Ghana by 2025, inking each community with innovative agricultural practices and training techniques and innovation that will help increase production.
